Came across an Ellis Mountain I69-10 -- Interesting looking motor... Anybody heard of/ seen flown / actually flown one of these in either a minimum diameter (29mm) or 38mm airframe optimized for "getting way up there" ?

Does anybody know how the Cd of a typical rocket will behave at supersonic speeds? say mach 1 to mach 1.5? At subsonic speeds the Cd does vary of course with velocity but the variance is so small during the majority of the flight profile, you can safely assume a constant Cd for ...

Is there a calculation for wind dfirt vs altitude vs time for guesstimating where a rocket under a certain size chute weighing x with x knots of wind may wind up? Michael
