Away launch accomodation/dining reviews?12 Aug 2004 03:52 GMT6
Regardless of where or when, we should consider compiling reviews of places to
stay/eat/socialize/etc. whenever attending launches out of state or too far to make the
one day trip.
We're a small community and we could make this a way to protect our own. I realize that
Rocket Tracking11 Aug 2004 22:54 GMT5
For tracking and recovery of a rocket would it be possible to set up a system
where something like a handheld computer is used to e-mail the location of the
rocket back to the launch site.  I had in mind a system where the computer
would send e-mails giving the location of the ...
Adhesive Question11 Aug 2004 21:10 GMT1
What would be a good adhesive to bond cellophane to paper. The
cellophane is clear so I do not want the glue to show too much. Any
help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rocketmaterials.com - Shear Pin Testing11 Aug 2004 19:12 GMT33
I have finished testing over 150 shear pins and the data is interesting.  Go
to www.rocketmaterials.com and click on data, scroll down to recovery.
Warning: materials have been brutally mutilated in the making of this data.

AARD availability?11 Aug 2004 17:52 GMT9

Rocket weighing11 Aug 2004 17:36 GMT27
Ok, now I feel silly, but I have to ask.  Where do you guys weigh your
scratch-built rockets?  Of course, I don't own a scale sensitive enough to
register, and I'd feel silly bringing the thing to the local Farmer Jack to use
their checkout scale...<g>

JonRocket.com is proud to announce that we now carry Whitewings glider

What does this have to do with model rockets? Can you say PARASITE
GLIDERS?
[FA] Last few hours BULK PACKS11 Aug 2004 02:32 GMT1
Bulk Packs of kits plus a funny re-listed launch controller. Those brainiacs at eBay must
have "outsourced" their people to India judging from the message I got from them regarding
the launch controller. What a bunch of inDUHviduals.

dynacom scorpion10 Aug 2004 15:08 GMT3
I'm looking for the instruction sheet for the Dynacom Scorpion kit. I note
the Dynacom website is gone, and maybe Dynacom, too, but I've got a kit and
wanted to know the assembly procedure, if there was one. Similar type
fiberglass rocket instructions will help.
