Now that they're starting to come back on the market, I got the 18mm and
24mm cases, plus some reloads (BTW, thanks to Commonwealth for great

Sigh, I just heard the "Dumb question of the Day"09 Sep 2004 23:05 GMT31
We're putting on our rocketry display at the Cleveland Air Show. Most
folks were curious, then impressed to see the size of the stuff we had
there (setting an M casing next to an Estes C, for example). The kids
all loved it. And then there was this one fellow who by luck of the ...

Where are the ramjets?09 Sep 2004 00:41 GMT11
Ramjets seem so simple: two nozzles, a flame holder, and something to
squirt fuel. The result is specific impulse that just can't be had with a
rocket motor carrying its own oxidizer. Save for the problem of initial
velocity, it seems like every kindergarten science project should ...

NBC tonight an AN08 Sep 2004 21:11 GMT9
The NBC national news tonight ran a story about AN, and how some states are
now requiring a "restricted fertilizer" permit to buy it in mass.
It showed ATF video of AN exploding....
Next it will be AP, and it will show an ATF Van exploding!
Genesis Tomorrow!08 Sep 2004 17:39 GMT9
NASA will attempt to catch the Genesis probe tomorrow afternoon which,
hopefully, has particles of the sun with it!
Capture practices have gone well so far... but the pilots are worried
about screwing up on live TV when the real thing happens.
