Altimiter for Estes rockets08 Sep 2004 14:26 GMT13
First, what's a good one to use?  I have a few payloader rockets(minus the
Icarus, but that's another story).

Building on my previous thread about ramjets, pulse jets, and the
commercially manufactured "Dynajet" pulsejet. Here's an idea for a nearly
"off-the-shelf" liquid fuel rocket engine.
Use a commercially manufactured "Dynajet" pulsejet engine, but instead of
Fin prep with MinWax hardener (question)08 Sep 2004 00:26 GMT2
I'm going to be using Minwax wood hardener on balsa fins.  Is there any

Estes SR-7107 Sep 2004 23:42 GMT3
I've heard people say that they've rarely seen a successful flight of this

METRA Launch Report Non POL07 Sep 2004 15:06 GMT1
I had to cut & run prematurely , the heat just got to me.
At least I got to fly my Maxum on an L 700 & saw 1 AMW demo.
It was an L 1980 Skidmark, very cool, weighed in at 47lbs & had no trouble
lifting it at all..

Tear drop shape07 Sep 2004 04:11 GMT11
I found a bowling ball in the vacant lot next door, I think the
neighbor kids were playing with it and left it there. Anyway it made me
think about the bowling ball launch and that the tear drop is the most
aerodymamic shape. So the question is just what would be the measures

What is a G101?06 Sep 2004 17:43 GMT17
I have been studying the combined motor list
from the NAR site.  Seems there's a motor called
the G101. It's a G101_T_ in the combined list,
but a G101_W_ on the TMT site.  It's a 29mm motor,
