TRIPOLI Cert Question03 Sep 2004 04:54 GMT52
Ok, so I am getting back into the hobby and really enjoying things with my
son (age 9). My question is - I have let my membership expire in Tripoli.
Upon rejoining will I have to recert? If so, do I get a new number and
everything. If so, will it be easier joining NAR? I have a lot ...

Here are a few photos from last Sunday. I don't

ID some of them. Most  of these are big motors,
L, M's etc. The one with the flag next to it was
LEUP question03 Sep 2004 04:31 GMT21

old motors - still good?03 Sep 2004 02:39 GMT39
I recently unearthed my old rocketry stuff from my parent's basement -
none of it has been touched in at least 15 years. Among other goodies

have a little nostalgia launch at the local park, but I'm wondering
What motor dealers ship? (Legally please)02 Sep 2004 15:13 GMT10
Can anyone tell me which of the big motor dealers ship L and M motors?
I know Magnum does but are there others? I don't think he sells big
Cesaroni.
What about the new Cesaroni M2505's? Are there any dealers carrying
micro-maxx as an ejection charge activator02 Sep 2004 14:22 GMT6
Has anybody ever considered using a micro-maxx motor as an ejection charge?
For example at apogg, the altimeter would ignite the mm motor, which would
be enclosed in a piston and this piston would accelerate and push the
laundry out?   just wondering.......

Cameras And Timers02 Sep 2004 08:29 GMT19
I am currently trying to design a system that activates an automatically
advancing camera every 1-30 seconds.  My current electronics skills are
relatively poor.
I've looking into this and believe it should be possible to use a 555 timer and

Rocket Simulation for my Level 1 Cert.02 Sep 2004 05:06 GMT7
Well, I'm getting closer to attempting my Level 1 cert.  I've got a
beautiful LOC-IV (mostly stock) drying and I'm starting to think about
motor selection.  Since I'll being buying the motor on-site it's going
to be whatever Tim from <shameless plug> rocket-technologies.com
PML Endeavor level 2 mods02 Sep 2004 04:55 GMT9
I just picked up a PML Endeavor kit. It's the largest and most
powerful rocket project I've started.
Anyway, my goal is to make it good for flights up to J and possibly
larger. Of course, PML designed the kit for H/I/J flights, so one
