| Followup to "Graphite on Ebay?" | 22 Sep 2004 23:22 GMT | 4 |
Among others, I got 3 interesting reactions to my post asking what's wrong with the graphite bars I'm selling on Ebay. 1. One responder said that compared to the bricks in the photo, the graphite bars look to be 1/2" square and just 14" long. The wall in the photo is NOT

| Graphite on Ebay? | 22 Sep 2004 16:55 GMT | 5 |

Any decent BLM launch sites west of Texas you've used and care to share? We fly high power hybrids, and would like to pre-file FAA waivers for our 'rest stops' along the way.

Here is a diagram I found via Google: <http://sfstation.members.easyspace.com/rcoll.htm> Heck if a V2 can fly I don't see why this thing cant. I esp like the idea of it flying back to landfall like some SR-71 scale

After my faithful old SureFire II finally gave up the ghost last month, I ordered a new one from Pratt Hobbies. Got it today, and boy am I happy! The current model is even nicer than the old one. The case and construction are very sturdy and attractive.

| BT-20 vs. BT-30 - historical q. | 22 Sep 2004 03:30 GMT | 7 |
Hi, here's a historical question, The kits I remeber from when I was a kid, some of them, the Estes "Astron Mark" for example, had the body tube listed as BT-30, and this was the size that the Estes A/B/C engine fit right in, with no engine mount. Now the

| Hatari Rocket | 22 Sep 2004 00:51 GMT | 7 |
So today I watched John Wayne in Hatari for the umpteenth time and I still don't get it. What the heck kind of rocket was that? It was way too short for stabile flight and I saw no fins or stick so how in the heck did that thing fly?

| BNC-30 in BT-20 | 21 Sep 2004 20:13 GMT | 7 |
Anyone tried adapting an Estes BNC-30 nose (that fits the old BT-30, no longer made) in a BT-20? Looks like you'd just have to slim the OD and ID down a few thousandths of an inch each, to have a match. I'm trying to re-create an old Estes kit that used a BT-30, and the noses are ...
