Any plans out there for a G powered R/C boost glider?

| So am I legal? | 31 Oct 2004 22:43 GMT | 34 |
Does the recent BATFE news mean that my G64 reload for my just purchased and never even used RMS 29/40-120 casing is illegal? I used to think this was all confusing, but that if I at least stayed below Level 1, all would be cool. Now it looks like even I'm screwed...

| model rocket collection from the late 60's early 70's | 31 Oct 2004 19:00 GMT | 1 |
Is anyone here interested in buying a huge collection? Includes Estes, Centuri & MPC Rockets & parts, catalogs, decals, assembly instructions, plans & mags. Well over 100 items. Probably too large to ship so would need to be picked up in NY. But a real collector

| [FFT] Pyrogened sustainers? | 31 Oct 2004 15:46 GMT | 34 |
HGS this weekend was great - except for my own launches. :^( Gila Monster was spectacular. My Big Bert (a gap-staged version of Big Bertha) failed to ignite the sustainer and desert-darted with 7" of BT crunch (luckily, no damage to the

| rocket-boosted payload gliders? | 31 Oct 2004 14:05 GMT | 51 |
Just wondering, has there ever been much rocketry R&D effort directed toward rocket-boosted payloading gliders? Perhaps for payloads over 1 ounce? I guess this kinda overlaps into the realm of R/C BG and R/C RG, for

When asked to post a particular document from a trial and case file, he is unable to do so. He is reliant entirely on public filings and items previously scanned and posted by me, or public websites. What is his purpose in life other than to troll rmr daily?

| spring steel launch rod? | 31 Oct 2004 12:39 GMT | 36 |
Hey all!! So, here's the thing. As a fresh BAR, I'm kinda on a DIY kick (gotta love acronyms) ... and I didn't want to pay $10 for an Estes launch rod (building my own launch pad).

| horizontal takeoff / horizontal boost gliders? | 30 Oct 2004 19:52 GMT | 31 |
Has anyone done any significant rocket glider work using rocket thrust to power an aero-lifting vehicle (f/f or r/c) in horizontal flight or takeoff? (One possibility might be to launch a glider with a "high

| [F-FT] NCR Bomarc | 29 Oct 2004 16:56 GMT | 59 |
Well, I finally scored and NCR Bomarc off of ebay as my birthday present to myself... Now, the question is, what modifications are needed to make it most useful? Does anyone know what the stock tubes are for it, and whether I

| Nomex shields? | 29 Oct 2004 15:30 GMT | 18 |
I've been using some Nomex fabric shields instead of wadding in my small rockets, with good results. Is this common practice in larger rockets, or do people typically prefer piston designs, or even wadding?

| LDRS 23 Video | 29 Oct 2004 15:30 GMT | 48 |
It is interesting. There will be no LDRS 23 videos. Seems no one thinks an LDRS with a low ceiling is worth documenting or producing. I guess no LDRS should be held if the ceiling is under 15,000 since it will be ignored by so many.
