Am I correct that Spread Spectrum primary advantages come when used in rf
noisy areas - military uses aside?  Also, a one watt 449 tx would have twice
the range of a 900 MHz tx  except in rf congested areas where SS would

Based on some experiences with a former project, I was thinking about
possibly starting a small business making GPS altimeters for high
powered rockets.  I'm aware there are some pressure-based altimeters
out there, but wondering if people want something with more accuracy

Finally bought an "E" engined bird.  Well, I actually got two.  I took the kids
with me to Commonwealth.  I had intended to buy a Big Daddy.  Emily clamped
onto that one for herself(brat<g>).  So, I got an Eliminator as well for
myself.

Looking for the coolest setup...
All of the rocket building stuff has been moved out of the house off the
wetbar and into the garage.   Setted up a small B&W TV and a medium size
boom box to keep me company for the time being.  What do you all have nearby
