Is the 29 reload worth it?16 Oct 2004 02:09 GMT6
I am thinking of buying a 29 reload for my son's new rocket (a birthday
gift). I would like to keep it in the 29 mm family due to cost. Does anyone
have any opinions regarding the 29/40-120 motor hardware. This seems to give
a nice balance of reload options (E-G). He will also be ...

Hello RMR,
I would like to know if there are any price guides for model rockets?
They seem to be far more expensive that what I remember ... just wondering.
Thank you.

Recovery ettiquette?14 Oct 2004 23:16 GMT44
Do most people mind if you pick up their rocket to return to them?  Meaning,
you go to get yours, there's another one nearby, so you bring it back to the
launch area.  I was talking to Kathy about this Saturday, she mentioned her
feelings on the subject and explained why.  I hadn't ...

SpaceShip One Video14 Oct 2004 07:24 GMT2
I just watched a 17:43 minute video of the last flight of SpaceShip One when it
won the X Prize.  The video starts with the drop and continues until
touch-down.  You can choose from 6 different camera angles, changing as you
wish, while the video is running.

Any one out there from the Grand Island NE area and into rocketry?  Let me
know so we can see what we can do.
wRasp 3.0 Open Source Programming Project14 Oct 2004 05:46 GMT39
It's time to put some of my programming talents to use for the
rocketry community.
I used wRasp for the first time a couple of months ago and was very
impressed.  But it could use some upgrading and a little polishing.

Using multiple grains14 Oct 2004 02:16 GMT6
I'm a newbie, or rather, more like a "notbie" - because I do more pyro than
model rockets.  But anyway, I was looking at the motors some of you use and
I noted that some of the larger ones use multiple grains of propellant.  I'm
wondering how you get away with that.  I was always ...
First Hybrid Flight - thanks to D. Pratt14 Oct 2004 02:09 GMT16
Flew my scratch build "Mike 2" rocket on a Rattworks H70 Sunday.
Kudos to Doug Pratt for over-nighting CGA660 to 326 adapter when I found
out at the last minute my N2O supplier could only fill 660 bottles.
Rocket was a little heavy for the motor, about 3 lbs without motor. Slow

Loft an Egg?
Loft a Ping-Pong Ball?
Loft a Bowling Ball?
