Things are looking up, if we can keep him unemployed.
Two down, several thousand to go.
US Rockets Colossus Stinger Two 21 Nov 2004 13:08 GMT2
Jerry,
I was checking out your website and came across this unique and good looking
two stage rocket. Would you please explain the proper way to prep and launch
the booster and sustainer stages. I'm not familiar with two staging APCP
A,B,C......X,Y,and Z20 Nov 2004 18:40 GMT6
One of the subjects that popped up at the last launch was Space Ship
One (what a surprise that!) and related things. The other fellow was
curious what the S1 motor might be rated at and I told him it was
estimated at about a "W". He thought it'd be in the double letter range,
Level 2 cert.20 Nov 2004 13:51 GMT8
I was just wondering about the test for level 2. I have seen the
Tripoli level 2 test online and also the NAR veresion. If you are a
member of the NAR, can you take the Tripoli version of the test, or do
you have to go by which organization you are a part of?
Igniter dimensional constraints?20 Nov 2004 13:50 GMT17
I've never done AP (I keep trying to resist the pull), but I have been
experimenting a bit with igniter construction.  So here's my question.
For a generic igniter, what would be the maximum acceptable thickness?  In
other words (I think), what is the narrowest ...
Amateur Rocket Motor Construction book???20 Nov 2004 11:57 GMT6
Is the above book by David Sleeter any good? I am interested in making some
of my own small rocket motors. Will this book be a good start to what I
need? It says that many engines can be made with common everyday stuff. How
easy are these ingredients to get (bearing in mind, I ...
Extreme Rocketry has lost its mojo....20 Nov 2004 05:09 GMT84
I opened the latest issue of Extreme Rocketry and I could have sworn
that I had the wrong magazine.  I flipped to the interview to find
Peter Alway holding a bunch of little scale rockets.  Now, Peter is
one righteous dude, but extreme is not his middle name.  I just feel
News on Aerotech?20 Nov 2004 04:48 GMT93
What is going on with the whole Aerotech fiasco?  The discussion seems to
have died out here but the lack of motors continues.  Are they in
production, coming soon, or still a long way off?
Rocket Screen Saver Volume 2???20 Nov 2004 04:01 GMT4
I'm seriously considering starting work on a project that
will utilize my best rocket pictures from the past 2-3 years
and am looking for feedback on several things, especially from
people who have my original screen saver.
Is there any excitement over Descon 15?20 Nov 2004 01:48 GMT6

Shadow Aerospace T-shirts19 Nov 2004 22:50 GMT2
Just bought a Shadow Aerospace T-shirt online.  (Not skilled enough to buy
any hardware from Dave yet, I'll just have to keep posing).
Bought it Saturday, got it Wednesday.
Really cool design, too.
Perfect Flite Altimeter other software?19 Nov 2004 20:25 GMT1
Got back into hobby after 30+ years hiatus.  Have a Perfect Flite
altimeter unit to use next spring and wonder if anyone has any
recommendations for a spread sheet program to import the data into
to calculate speed/accelleration etc.  The P.F. software is pretty basic
