Airstarting in a near vacuum12 Nov 2004 20:12 GMT6
What's the best way to airstart a motor in a near vacuum?  My initial
guess is to keep the engine nozzle capped (and pressurized) until it
hits something like 100psi (when the cap bursts).  Are there any other
methods which make ignition in a near vacuum reliable?

Anyone heard of, or used these long duration, low impulse SU motors?
Any US distributors?

To the Wicca Liberal Bitch with the shaved c.nt11 Nov 2004 15:33 GMT4
Hiya Hun,
I personally see nothing wrong with a woman shaving her c.nt.  It
helps keep the area cleaner and therefore the smell stays down.  Its
also cool to think that a gal spent time down there, playing with

Mr. Senoski, you made good rockets! (long)10 Nov 2004 05:16 GMT4
After working on a clone of the Kopter Pterosaur on and off for a few
months, I finally had a chance to fly it at last weekend's Saros launch.
The Pterosaur is a relatively heavy (4.4oz = 126g) D-powered rocket
glider.  It's about 28 inches long, with a delta wing whose span is 20 ...
D12-0 highest thrust BP booster?10 Nov 2004 01:59 GMT7
Is anyone making a 24mm black powder motor that could be used in a typical
motor-to-motor staging configuration with a higher thrust than the Estes
D12-0?  I used to see posts about a D20.  Is that motor out of production?
[F-FT] Renegade instruction problems?10 Nov 2004 01:41 GMT5
I've seen references (over time) to problems with the instructions for
the Estes Renegade.  I'm about to build mine up, but I can found no
cogent notes anywhere about WHAT the problems were.  Any comments?

HPR vs. LPR vs. EX vs. Estes Class vs. Reality...09 Nov 2004 19:04 GMT5
I was actually interested getting involved in the HPR community here,
since I rather enjoyed Estes Class and LPR when I was younger. I have
been doing a major amount of reading through the various by-laws,
regs, and resource pages available to the general public about HPR.

F or G glider motors09 Nov 2004 17:04 GMT3
What is the best bet now for a low-impulse F or G motor? I have the
Aerotech Phoenix rocket glider kit, which comes with an Aerotech 32/60-100
casing. Until Aerotech resumes production, does anyone know of a source
still selling old F-12/G-12-RCT loads? Failing that, would it be ...

[F-FT] Hobby People update09 Nov 2004 02:34 GMT5
I just left the Hobby People in Fountain Valley, CA.  They had the Estes
Hydrogen Rocket on the shelf, for $39.99 (actual product, not just an
ad).  Also, the Quest Micro-Max Super-Value kit has been reduced from
$39.99 to $29.99.  For this, you get a launcher, launch pad, ten
