Using Reloads in Estes type rockets..03 Jan 2005 07:11 GMT6
I need to know what I need to do to use Reloadable hardware in Estes Rockets.  I know I have read to cut off the tip of the engine clip so the hardware will fit.  Can anyone give me specifics like how much to cut, whether to leave just a little or what.
Thanks
Pennsylvania explosives regulation changes in the works03 Jan 2005 07:03 GMT22
http://www.isee.org/whatsnew.htm

(http://www.pacode.com/secure/data/025/chapter211/025_0211.pdf) that APCP is
Estes Scissor Wing Transport03 Jan 2005 02:22 GMT2
Has anyone built one of the new reissue kits? I just finished one and was
wondering if anybody had trouble trimming the thing. Mine needed nearly all
the clay added to the rear of the rocket (I ended up using some lead
instead). Seemed kind of odd, I went back and checked my ...

[F-FT] Estes Eagle tangles again02 Jan 2005 04:37 GMT1
OK, I launched my Estes Eagle again today, this time on a C6-3.  Where
the B4-2 flight was straight up, the C6-3 went straight up at first, but
with the additional power of the C it had severe arcing off to the side
after the early portion of boost.  This time, I 'wrapped' the ...

mars lander help01 Jan 2005 18:18 GMT3
I'm an on again off again model rocketer since the early 1970's. My son and
I have quite a collection. We would like to build a Mars Lander and have
decals, nose cone, and plans. I need some assistance from those of you who
build many clones as to the best places for aftermarket ...
Likely I won't, but.......01 Jan 2005 12:25 GMT2
So many times on the new year people do silly things like shooting off
guns and all that. Part of me wants to go down to the shop and make a
big "ejection charge" to send the old year on it's way. Just to show the
amatuers how to do it right, of course. I won't do that, but, as ...
Is there an echo in here?01 Jan 2005 07:35 GMT12
This morning I had about 50 - 60 posts to RMR that were all dated from
November of this year. Any one else see anything like that, or is it just my
news server being strange?

How many posts?01 Jan 2005 02:04 GMT14
About a month ago, Charter Cable changed news servers and since that time,
things have been anything but normal. Weird posts, multiples, some never
make it, posts from last year suddenly appearing. I used to get as many as
250 per day but the last week, it's been less than 30 per ...
