BT-80KD vs. BT-80?11 Jan 2005 01:21 GMT2
I just bought a new Estes Executioner rocket and unfortunately damaged
the BT-80KD & JT-80L.  I was curious if someone could tell me the
difference between a regular BT-80 and the KD?  Also, if anyone knows a
good source to acquire these two pieces, I'd appreciate it.

For those rocketeers with a decent 6" scope, it's a great night to see comet

other organization will recognize the certification. I also read that that
could change in the future. Is there any advantage joining and certifying
with one or the other? What is the difference?
Altering motors09 Jan 2005 20:37 GMT19
Speaking of altering a motor, how technical does it get?
What about adding a little 4 F, as suggested by several people when I was
looking for an aid to staging to a small diameter nozzle? I added a small
amount of crushed bp to the top of a C6-0 and it worked. No problems with

Question on motor mounts09 Jan 2005 02:24 GMT2
I am building a LOC/Precision EZI-65, which I plan to use for Level 1 and 2
certification.  The demo model I saw had some type of contraption that used
two small wing-nuts to secure diferent size mounts in the main motor tube.
Might any one have a link to a drawing of something ...
