OK guys, joke's over... Just got some large tubular Kevlar from Pratt Hobbies to use as part of the piston ejection system in my 1/4 Scale Patriot from PML for my level 1 attempt.

Estes suggests adding another 13 grams (1/2 ounce) weight to the nose. The current kit comes with 2 "butter pats" of clay for a total of about 13 grams and they are going to change that to 4 "butter pats" or 2 "cubes" for a total of just over 1 ounce of clay.

RMR, We just finished our first attempt at a rocketry website, no advertisements, no pop ups. Nothing fancy, just basic stuff. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes to click & read through it. As I learn more it will get better.
