Has anyone considered an em pulse from cell phone ringing nearby active recovery avionics electronics to be a risk of inadvertently triggering the ejection charges? Should cell phones be restricted from being around connected ematches, etc, during prepping as a safety precaution?

I'm building my first gap staged rocket out of two Baby Bertha kits. I'm worried that the lower stage tube will get worn out rather quickly after exposure to both the burnthrough on the booster motor and the ignition of the sustainer. Should I use some sort of inner lining? Any

With the introduction of the Skyripper 29mm motors, I suspect it would be possible to put together a hybrid powered rocket weighing much less than 3.3 lbs. Am I correct in assuming, however, that such rockets cannot be launched

Thought it might be of interest to you all that the UK altitude record was broken today ( 23/04/05 ) in fantastic style by Damian Hall, the rocket was launched from SWARM's launch site in Devon. England. The rocket is a 2 stage vehicle with each stage powered by a PRO54 K660 ...
