| Level 1 Cert | 16 May 2005 16:21 GMT | 16 |
Well, I've seen a couple of people post about their cert flights, so I'll do the same. April 9, 2005 at Gumbert's field(north of Jackson, Michigan) I flew with the Jackson Model Rocket Club(JMRC). Several club members

| Wanted: V-2 model | 16 May 2005 12:50 GMT | 4 |
I'm looking for a model of the German V-2 (A-4) for use in an elementary school presentation. It can be an old Estes model or a non-functioning model of any reasonable scale. Is you have one you'd like to part with, please e-mail me at fhelsell@mchsi.com

| [Vonage.com] Rocket commercial | 16 May 2005 05:49 GMT | 23 |
I believe on MSNBC (Imus) I saw a Vonage commercial with model rockets prominent in it. However they were "misused". Don't complain. It was funny and obviously staged.

| Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life: no one can come to the Father(God)(in Heaven), but by me." (John 14:6) This means that if you die without trusting in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour you will die in your sins and be forever separated from the love of God in a place called Hell. The Holy Bible descibes Hell as a place of eternal torment, suffering, pain and agony for all those who have rejected Jesus Christ. The good news is that you can be sure you are going to Heaven when this life is over if you allow Jesus Christ to save you today. Do not wait until later to be saved because you do not know exactly when you will die. [ Posted by: RonaldGrossi3848@yahoo.com on May 14, 2005 ] [ 2:53:09 pm ] | 16 May 2005 00:01 GMT | 3 |

Just heard a trail for BBC Radio 4's "Home Truths" programme to be broadcast at 9-00am BST. Saturday 14th May. There will be a segment on John Stewart Dunlop and the Paisley Rocketeers who are, I believe, are among the worlds oldest rocketry groups having been founded in the

| New Ga Field | 14 May 2005 00:54 GMT | 5 |
We have a new flying field in Ringgold Ga. Its a sod farm, 1 mile wide by 2.5 miles long. The sod is well manicured (like a golf course!!) I am in the process of forming a 501(C) corporation for our insurance, and we do have a 10000' waiver in place at this time.

| [FT]slow FAA waivers? | 13 May 2005 15:28 GMT | 5 |
Anybody applied for a HPR FAA waiver lately? Things sure are slow. The website for my local FAA office states that they need 10 days to process a waiver, and its been almost 2 months? The waiver is at the same place a waiver was inplace last year. Should I call and enquire ?

| Apogee Saturn V | 13 May 2005 06:52 GMT | 4 |
Finally, after a couple years looking at the box, I've started work on my Apogee Saturn V. I've spent quite a bit of time over the last few weeks digging through web resources looking for tips and advice, and thought I'd run a couple questions by this group ...

| Extending delays in SU motors | 13 May 2005 05:20 GMT | 3 |
I saw Fred Shecter's post on TRF about humidity extending delays in BP motors. If you dump the BP powder in a SU, apply a tiny drop of water to hole (to "humidify" the delay grain), dry external residue, then replace the ejection charge, will this delay the delay? I realize it's

| Launch Rod Material | 12 May 2005 19:21 GMT | 103 |
What is the preferred material, for a home-built launch pad? Is 1/8" carbon-fiber rod "usable", or is it too flexible? (I am asking about its use for typically small, light LPR use...nothing over C-motor power.)

| Another L1 cert | 12 May 2005 14:02 GMT | 8 |
Ok, everyone else is posting theirs. April 17, 2005, a BSD 38 special on a Cesaroni H143SS, set to 8 second delay. Very nice if not terrebly high flight. Pictures should be in the launch newsletter, whenever that comes out. Meanwhile, here are some from a later launch:
