Just got back home from UKRA2005 and processed all my video.  Big
thanks to everyone involved in the launch especially the Council, Pete
Davy, Mike Roberts and Damian Hall, and all the fliers.  I had a great
time and some really fun flights.  The results are at

[F-FT] Repairing Quantum tubing15 Jun 2005 20:42 GMT11
Is there any way to repair a crack in PML Quantum tubing (short of

hard-surface landing.  It's only about an inch long, but I don't want to

Aluminum tower guides -- will AP corrode them?15 Jun 2005 04:51 GMT12
I am planning a launch tower with 8-foot, 3/4" tubular aluminum guides
set within a multiple halo structure.  My question:  will the exhaust
and flame from a minimum diameter 320n/s motor rocket (which will be
less than a half inch from guide tubes) corrode/wreck the guide tubes?
New Federal budget allows for BATFE license fees to increase without limit15 Jun 2005 04:13 GMT9
I found this at: http://www.isee.org/
"The recently released federal budget included a provision to allow the
Department of Justice to impose new user and license fees.  The user fees would
apply to all explosives manufactured in or imported into the United States.
Caution on Hypertech M motors15 Jun 2005 02:53 GMT45
If you buy a Hypertech M motor system, remove the brass Kline valve and be
sure the factory installed the Kline valve seat O-Ring.  They do not
provide a spare for this O-Ring as it is factory installed and rarely
needs replacement.
