Estes Rocket Cars on Clearance at Walmart29 Aug 2005 01:58 GMT7
Just a head's up - Walmart is starting to prepare the toy section for

all of the Estes rocket cars there today at my local WM - priced at
$9.00.

up, arced over and started down, and down, and down.  When the
parachute finally came out, most people thought it would be damaged,

"I had three cases of beer, and told them they could take what they wanted,"

BALLS 14 info request.  XPRS too27 Aug 2005 04:28 GMT3
I'm not going to get set up on the Tripoli list server in time so I'm
asking here.  I can only go to one of the big fall desert launches this
year, either BALLS or XPRS.  Has there been a "what are you flying at
BALLS this year" thread over on the TRA list?  If so, can I get a

and it got me to thinking about starting a business where you launch and
disperse peoples ashes in space...or at least at the edge of space.....
spool rocket descent rate26 Aug 2005 03:51 GMT8

as I build larger ones at some point they will need a recovery system with a
parachute and everything.  I'm trying to figure ...
[F-FT] E-motor Space Ship One first impressions26 Aug 2005 03:33 GMT3
Just picked up the new Estes E-motor SS1 kit.  First impressions are

and fairly dense, but still styrofoam).  The majority of the assembly is
done with silicone glue, with many steps calling for 24 hour drying ...

to anything new. Today I found a very interesting item on the Institute of
Makers of Explosives web pages.
They have posted a copy of a letter sent from the DOJ to Vice President Dick
