| Altimeter Recommendation | 30 Sep 2005 01:09 GMT | 13 |
I'm looking for a back-up altimeter. I don't want to spend too much money but it should allow dual outputs to fire both a drogue and main chute. Maximum altitude readout would be nice. I currently have an adept unit that has been perfect. Any thoughts?

Are there any groups which deal more with experimental rocketry? I was wondering if anyone had tried using altitude compensating nozzles with homebrew solid propellants, but I don't know where to ask the question.

| 1970s Estes Collection unboxed...of value?? | 25 Sep 2005 22:18 GMT | 1 |
I used to build and fly Estes Rockets in the early to mid 1970s. Then, kept my rockets carefully stored in boxes....just opened the boxes yesterday. Do not have the time to work on them.....will keep and fly a few, and was wondering if anything is of significant value.
