Nighthawk upscale progress27 Oct 2005 14:35 GMT3
I posted a couple pix of the glider portion of my Nighthawk 2.5x project in
abmr. I wanted to finish the glider first so I had at least some idea of the
weight being lofted, and what sort of motor mount to build into the booster

appear to be that accurate (mass override for nose cone, no TTW fins)
and a weight a couple of ounces above published figures.

Model Rocket Fin Finishing Tips?25 Oct 2005 14:05 GMT11
I'm looking for tips on finishing balsa fins. The last time I built a model
rocket was back in high school in the 70's. Back then I used model dope
sealer and coated and sanded the fins until smooth. I just read on the web
other tips involving gluing paper or other materials to ...
