[F-FT] Recommendations for rail launchers15 Oct 2005 04:15 GMT29
I'm soliciting recommendations for a rail launcher, hopefully based on
actual usage.  I seem to recall someone advertising one here several

I'm looking for something easy to carry in the car, but with a

I'm reading a copy of the American Modeler magazine, mar/apr 1963 and
G.Harry Stine  mentions a new model rocket company called Scientific Amateur
Supply Co.(SASCO) in Ogden,Utah by what he calls a Thiokol propellant
chemist named John Rahkonen.
Anybody have a Centuri Enginneering 1963 catalog?14 Oct 2005 03:04 GMT1
Subject  Line says it all. Ninfinger has a 62 and 64 catalog. I assume a 63
catalog was produced. Anybody know?  I am trying to determine if the 63
catalog showed the Acro-Bat BG.

Ok, I finally got a chance to fly my Estes Oracle today and it
actually worked.  So now I've got this 71,785 KB avi file, which is
obviously way too big to put up on a website.  I think I have to
convert the file to something else to get it down to a manageable

Mounting suggestion for Microtimer12 Oct 2005 00:03 GMT1
I recently purchased a Perfectflite Microtimer that I hoped to use in
several two stage rockets I am building. Unfortunately the LED is on
one side and the program button is on the other which prevents the
simple method of just gluing it to a board.

Technologies amateur rockets bookset, and if so, how long did it take
to arrive, and how do they ship?
Thanks in advance,
Thank you, Jerry Irvine!11 Oct 2005 23:04 GMT7
The USR motor hardware that I won in the "Save Rocketry Now" raffle
arrived on Saturday, while I was away at PlasterBlaster. Jerry, thanks
for your generous donation! I look forward to putting it to use.

A while back, I read here that someone had done a small model that
used the sun to counter weather-cocking of the airframe. Anyone remember
that? Does someone here have any details? A webpage that explained it? I
have a team of students that are participating in a national ...
