While searching the Internet for something totally unrelated to model
rockets I happen to stumble onto this site. Reading through some of the
posts brought back numerous memories when I flew model rockets probably
30 years ago. At the time, I seem to recall having a launch pad that

I happened to turn on the Dashboard widget and watch NASA tv at 9:30 EST
and caught the 10 count of the Deep space project rocket.  After it got
past mach and leveled out the screen went black.  I trust all is well,
it's just a pity there wasn't more lead time for school's etc to ...

someone tell me if my theory is wrong, but with vac bagging you only get a
total of 14psi force onthe parts you are attempting to bag.
whay not sink it into a pool with tons of water? rather than suck the air
out, you squeeze it out.

Maybe everyone already knows this, but it was a pleasant surprise to me
to walk into a hobby shop and see a rotating rack of BMS nose cones and
body tubes. In my case it was Galaxy Hobbies in Lynnwood, WA, and very
