Constant continuity checking28 Feb 2006 21:16 GMT14
I'm designing a new high tech launch controller.  I have one question
concerning continuity checking.
I plan to use a very low current continuity check, on the order of 1
microamp (.0000001 amps).  This should be low enough to safely test

Age restrictions to fly hobby line RMS motors?28 Feb 2006 06:56 GMT31
What are the age restrictions (how old do you have to be) to assemble
and fly hobby line RMS motors (18mm, 24mm or  29/120mm) up to G
impluse? I understand High Power certification requirements, but can
someone under 18 purchase, assemble and fly hobby line RMS motors?
Plugging a booster engine28 Feb 2006 01:46 GMT20
If I don't need an ejection charge, and don't want combustion products
flowing up into my craft, is it possible/reasonable to plug the fore end
of a booster engine (part of a cluster)?  I was considering a teaspoon
or so of epoxy.  Any better ideas?

Glaze/sandable filler for body tubes27 Feb 2006 22:54 GMT5
What's best for preparing paper body tubes for a super-smooth finish?
Something to fill in the little spiral gap in the paper cover as well as
any low spots.  I'm sure a few coats of primer would do the job, but
that's a lot of sanding.  Is there anything like a thin, brushable
non mettalic material for mould making27 Feb 2006 17:36 GMT1
Dear Sir,
We are searching for non metallic material for making mould.
The material we are casting into the mould is polyurethane elastomer
also the Max temperature of the mould is 140 C.
Production dates on Estes BP motors...27 Feb 2006 01:16 GMT3
This may be a silly question, but does Estes stamp/print production
dates on their BP motors? I'm looking at several "numbers" on various
motors that I thought were dates, but they do not match what is printed
on the bar code tag that describes the contents of the package. Just
Is There Going To Be ASouthern Thunder 2006?26 Feb 2006 21:14 GMT1
Have not gotten a response from anyone at their website which has not
changed in a couple of months now. Is there going to be a launch? If so,
when? What vendors will be there? Need details so I can start planning.
Thanks

Well more of the brainwashing that the left has done upon the youth of
our country ... started with the communists of the 30s, then the beat
nicks of the 50s ... then the hippies of the 60s, and now the college
kids of the 100s ... nice, that a man like Pappy,  isn't alive to see
