I will be visiting Bloomington Illinois, ISU area and I need a place to
launch some rockets.
The rockets I will be launching are c, d, e, f, and g engines and will
fly below 2000 feet.

So I guess I cannot use the actual name of this launch here in this group,
or the message ends up getting kill-filed by your programs before most of
you see it.
The event name starts with something like "aytch eee double hockey-sticks".

For those on an island or places where land is limited, ever thought of a beach launch and sea recovery where the rocket is made waterproof and it would land in the sea, then some crew on a boat would go and pick it up (has to have GPS beacon so you can find it)

Is Kevlar string something that can be found at local stores such as

covers use of model rockets and Canepa covers HPR but mostly with solid
motors?

Several of us have had some problems with early ejection using the I285R
motors. I mean waaaaay early, after about 1 to 2 seconds of boost.
We checked the Aerotech site and are using the recommended delay element for
a medium delay.
