Superglue accelerator17 Sep 2006 18:53 GMT14
I will be using some CA (superglue) and the store bought accelerator.
Is there a "homebrew" for this expensive liquid. That is, what can I
substitute for CA accelerator?
Thanks

Spray Paint Lumping15 Sep 2006 00:46 GMT4
Until I can afford an airbrush and do things *right*, I thought I'd
make do with spray paint.
While the coverage is much more even than hand painting, using the
stuff can cause unsightly drips.  Does anyone have a technique for
Dual Deployment for Close Proximity type Recovery14 Sep 2006 02:40 GMT11
I still have not touched my EZI-65 kit.  I'm amazed by my own
restraint.
Any, I saw this page http://www.rocketryonline.com/tech/tech_ez_01.html
And liked a lot of what I saw.  I am particularly interested in finding

Perfect use for old FSI F7-4 motors?13 Sep 2006 22:45 GMT37
Hello, I posted earlier about flying a rocket with some old FSI F7
motors I had laying about...well, I think I have a solution and am
wondering what the group thinks of this idea!  My brother in law asked
me if I could do a rocket demonstation for his Tiger Cub troop.  I was

Overfinishing a rocket12 Sep 2006 18:13 GMT14
Wow, I'm finishing a large project and now I'm spraying white primer.
The more I sand and fill and paint, and repeat again and again, as I
see more small flaws like glue drops of lumpy paint. Anyway I'm at the
point of diminishing returns. The more I finish and prime, the worse It
Needs Fixing: NAR L2 test questions12 Sep 2006 11:49 GMT22
I was just reviewing the NAR L2 test pool, in preparation for giving the
test to a NIRA member. It's been a long time since I've looked at the
questions. I was surprised to find several wrong answers, and several
answers are now incorrect as a result of the recent safety code ...

Carpenter's Wood Glue?11 Sep 2006 17:16 GMT1
Elmers used to have a brand called Carpenter's Wood Glue.  It was a
gell formula that didn't run and didn't deform, making it work
extremely well for fillets.
I've reached the end of my supply and now I can't find it anywhere. Do
Slightly crushed airframe  tube.08 Sep 2006 18:23 GMT13
Hi, I'm building an EZI-65 with 4 inch airframe and when it arrived in
the mail I noticed that the airframe was apparently slightly crushed at
some point.  It is not very noticeable and the tube appears to be round
since a coupler can easily slide down the entire length.  The only
