Does anyone know where Greg Deputy can be reached?  I have been
attempting to contact him for two weeks now with no success.  I have
tried his e-mail address, pager, MSN hotmail account, business website
e-mail, and home/cell phone.   Thank you.
Launch sites near Gettysburg PA27 Aug 2008 14:10 GMT1
I'm going to be spending some time with some friends near
Gettysburg Pa soon, and their son wants to go fly some rockets.
Are there any rocket-friendly launch sites near that area?  We'll
be flying low-powered stuff, nothing over 1 lb or greater than "F"

Wow. Posts about rockets instead of B. G*th's raging against reality.

Does anyone know if Estes plans to offer C5s again? I haven't flown my
old LTV Scout in years.

Gliding rocket09 Aug 2008 05:11 GMT8
I observed an interesting and rather scary thing this weekend. A long,
skinny (~3" diameter) rocket suffered a recovery harness failure at apogee,
and the booster section did not come in on chute. What it did do was glide -
a relatively long way, and very fast. It was amazingly ...
LinkedIn group for NAR members08 Aug 2008 20:15 GMT1
I've had a couple dozen NAR members among my LinkedIn connections, and
just added more from the NARAM-50 / ORR list. I thought it was time
that we had a group presence on LinkedIn so I created a National
Association of Rocketry group. If you're already on LinkedIn, please

Foam Nose Cones04 Aug 2008 21:41 GMT5
I would like to make my own dense foam nose cones using a mold and casting
method.  Making the mold is the easy part.  The foam, well is another story.
