I have a GP wildcat on the way and I need to purchase some batteries.  I
need 2 6 or 7 cell packs.  I would like to get 2 sets (4 total) at a
resonable price.  Obviously I am not expecting record performance, but
decent performance and durabilty are important.  I have looked at the ...

Hi, All!  I am trying to locate a set of plans for the Dumas USS
Crockett from someone who has finished the kit. My next project is a

& a set of Dumas plans would be easier to enlarge than the 1:96 scale

I saw a Victoria yacht for the first time today at our club and was
surprised that there was no jib luff rope (wire/cord whatever) and the
luff wasn't even straight so excess material doubled back into a rough

Sailboat rigging lines22 Aug 2003 06:29 GMT1

I picked up Tuf Line XP which is a Spectra line similar to Dacron.  Will
this work reasonably well?  And is one size good for different boat sizes.
Pontoon Barge20 Aug 2003 01:10 GMT1
Hey Bronco,  I am trying to think of a way to make a towing barge for
the Dickie Tugboat.   your Pontoon boat sounds like it might have
pontential for a barge too.  What are you using for the pontoons?  I
would have to make something that floats in a straight line but has
fuel supply to marine gas engine18 Aug 2003 02:49 GMT2
I have a Kyosho Nitro Viper GT boat.
As supplied, the kit used back pressure from the muffler to pressurize the
gas tank, which in turn fed gas to the engine.  This works most of the time.
