Quadra Engine in Cabin Cruiser28 Jan 2004 20:12 GMT1
I have a Q-35H engine that I'd like to install in a 4-foot cabin
cruiser, under construction at the moment. However, when I bought the
engine from Tower Hobbies some years ago, they didn't sell any of the
necessary driveline hardware that was required for marine operation.

Props size..help!19 Jan 2004 22:57 GMT3
I'm fitting out a 40" hull, 6lb / 3kg boat at the moment.  It's a very old
hull I have renovated and was, at the time (c1940) a speed boat.  I have
addedd a deck to make it look like an old air sea rescue boat.
I intend to fit a speed 700 with Robbe 35mm prop, direct drive on cells ...

This is the first time I have been to this newsgroup.  What are the rules
regarding mentioning ("advertising") of RC-related services?  I don't want
to offend anyone.

Can anyone give me a source for crew figures for a tugboat in 1/40 scale?
A captain and a mate would  be nice. About 11/2 to 13/4 tall.
Thanks for any help.

I am looking for the lines of any of the more recent 12 meter boats. Does
anyone know of a source for these. I have written to S&S but haven't
received a reply. Any other ideas or sources
My search is to build a scale model of the class, not a full size boat.

MegaTech -- anyone else finding quality control problems?12 Jan 2004 15:51 GMT3
Please excuse the multi-post, but it's a multi-group question: has
anyone else had  less-than-sparkling quality control issues with
MegaTech products, especially recently? Out of the last three MegaTech
items I've sold (two Helichoppers and a Capitol Flyer), all three were
