I'm pulling an old electric model out of retirement.  It's the Dumas 40 foot
Coast Guard utility boat.  It currently has a pair of Robbe 600's (I think,
may be 700's or even 500's) can type motors with 3/1 gear boxes.  Current
speed control is the old Ace unit rated at 80 amps.
hovercraft22 Aug 2004 22:18 GMT10
I have a R/C hovercraft and I got a NiCd (8x)AA 700 mAh 9.6V battery pack
when I bought it.
The problem is that the power only lasts for about 5 minutes...
- is it possible to use a more powerful battery pack?

Ok, so here's what I've been tasked to do
Build a system to produce smooth sinusoidal oscillations with a
variable stroke of up to 8" and variable frequency up to 30hz. The
driver required will be around 3 hp.
RagTime03 Aug 2004 09:21 GMT5
Have a very old plan, and I wish to build this model again.
Problem is I do not have all of the plan.
The plan is of the Ragtime, a model 1M yacht featured in the Marine
Modelling World Wide Plans Service, (MMWWPS), books many years ago.
