Soldered joints29 Sep 2004 14:10 GMT4
I have been unsuccessfully attempting to join metal (aluminium to aluminium
and stainless steel to itself) using soldering techniques.
There MUST be a way of joining these metals without going out and buying a
welding set!
R/C Signals Underwater27 Sep 2004 01:50 GMT2

from above water to underwater similar to some of those little cheap
submarines you can buy, or I saw a documentary on the military where they
lowered a bomb into a 15 foot deep pool and guided it to a target ...

need a pair of 4"props for it.  I was told of a company called "Prop
Shop" that makes a full line of cast brass propellers for model boats.
Not tho ones with the blades soldered onto the hub, but full cast

Source for large R/C boat models?02 Sep 2004 20:56 GMT4
I'd like to put together a 1/6 scale PBR patrol boat model.  A 1/6 PBR
would have a length of about 62 inches and a beam of around 22 inches
- most R/C models are MUCH smaller.
Anybody got a source you could point me to?  Thanks,
