I have developed a system that can drive a model car or boat using GPS
guidance.  So far I have tested it on a model car and was wondering how
well it would work on a boat to return it to the water's edge when out
of range.  Alternatively you could use it to give your boat a long

Have a serious question, may sound dumb. I want to build a large rc boat
to pull baits through the surf  to fish for sharks from the beach. Most
people use ocean kayaks. Can't handle that.  Are there radios out there
that would give me an effective operating range of 300+ yards? ...

Hi, I am planning to build a large Deep Vee boat (approx 50 in.) and I
want to install a gasoline motor, probably a weed eater motor in it. It
happens that these motors stall at times. I want to be able to bring the

One of the employees at my LHS (their RC guru) said that Spektrum brand 2.4
gh radios shouldn't be used for boats.  He went on to say that the signal
isn't reliable because it "reflects" off the water, adding that Futaba
radios don't have this problem because of their frequency ...

i am now building my new RC boat Hull (boat design taken from this
forum)... please help me what are the basic components needed to build a
complete RC boat ( thinking of brushless motor to intall on it). Thanks
